Water Supply and Drainage: Chongqing Sino-French Water Supply Co., Ltd was founded officially on 1st, Nov 2002. On 25th, April, 2002, Chongqing Water Holding Company and Sino-French Water Investment Co., Ltd under the control of French Suez Group formally signed an agreement on establishing jointly Chongqing Sino-French Water Supply Co, Ltd for developing water supply projects in the northern part of Chongqing city proper. 通讯设施：全市光缆总长度达到5万公里；固定电话交换机总量达到596万门；移动电话交换机容量总量达到525万门。移动电话用户达到425万户，移动电话普及率达到13．7％，主线普及率达到13．3％，全市电话普及率达到27．3％。国际互联网用户发展迅猛，各类数据用户达57万户，通信业的快速发展为加快信息建设提供了有利的条件。综合通信能力进一步增强。2002年，全行业固定资产投资达40亿元，新建、扩建了一批重点通信工程项目。重庆电信完成了覆盖全市区县（自治县、市）的ADSL扩容，1000号客户系统、97系统优化、本地账务系统等重点工程建设，使综合通信能力和网络管理能力得到明显提高。 Telecommunication facilities: The total cable length in the whole city reaches 5 km; the total switchboard quantity of fixed phones amounts to 5.96 million; the total switchboard capacity quantity of mobiles amounts to 5.25 million. There are 4.25 million mobile users, with a popularization rate of 13.7%, 13.3% popularization rate of main lines and 27% telephone popularization rate in the whole city. The number of Internet users is increasing very fast, with 570,000 users for all sorts of data, and the rapid increase of telecommunication provides a good foundation of a speedy information construction. In the year of 2002,the investment for the fixed assets for the whole telecommunication sector amounted to RMB 4.0 billion Yuan used for a group of the newly constructed or renovated telecommunication engineering projects. Chongqing Telecom has finalized the construction of ADSL capacity expansion, 1000 customer system, optimization of 97 system and local financial system, which enhance greatly the integrated telecommunication capacity and network management capacity. 电力工业: 通过5 年多的努力,市电力公司总计投资100亿元进行高低电网方面，已建成了横贯重庆东西的500千伏骨干电网，主城区建成200千伏双环网。2002年，城市供电可靠率达到99．92％，居民客户端电压合格率达97．14％；农村供电可靠性已达到99．45％。 Power Industry: Through an effort for five year, the Municipal Power Industry has totally invested RMB 10 billion yuan in high and low electric network, to construct a key electric network with a capacity of 500 kV through east to west of Chongqing and a double hoop network with a capacity of 200 kV in the city proper. In the year of 2002, the reliability rate of power supply is 99.92%in the urban area and 99.25% in the rural area. 市电力公司每年向全市各个区县（自治县、市）地方电力公司趸售电量13亿千瓦时左右，占地方各电力公司年总售电量的20％。 The Municipal Power Company sells 1.3 billion Kw/h to the local power company every year, which takes 20% of the total quantity sold by local power company. 江北区域内的交通道路网 Communication System within Jiang Bei Area
